"A Christmas Encounter"

12:00PM - 4:00 PM in the PAC
A Christmas Encounter is our multicultural event that celebrates our cultural diversity within our Parish and Community. Each country is invited to bring a food dish from their country, perform a cultural activity (song, dance etc.) and to host a display table that reflects their culture and a "Spiritual Theme". The spiritual theme this year is "The Nativity". This event is very popular amongst parishioners and is a great way to meet other people and experience other cultures. We also participate in an "International Rosary" and many people like to dress in their national costume.
If you'd like to bring a food dish and/or help with your countries display table, select the country you are representing by clicking on the appropriate flag below and follow the instructions. If you'd just like to attend click on "Attend the event only" and that way we can get an accurate no of attendees and plan accordingly.

We always need lots of volunteers to make this event a success e.g. with setting up and decorating, food servers and cleaning up after the event. If you can help us this year, please sign-up using volunteer link below. Also please consider helping us promote the event at our Tres F table in the Narthex
Note: If you would like to participate and your countries flag is not listed. Please email swfrew@sbcglobal.net and it will be added within 24 hrs. We would love to have as many different countries/cultures participate as possible.
